Under the patronage of HRH Prince Turki Bin Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Chair of the university’s Board of Trustees, a Reward Ceremony was held on Saturday January 3, 2009 at PMU male campus.
PMU family honored Rector, Dr. Issa Al Ansari, during the “Eid Party” held on campus on Saturday, December 20 and 21, 2008. Representatives of the Students Council presented a gift to the Rector who wished blessed season to everyone.
PMU Rector, Dr. Issa Al Ansari hosted by TV Show “Al Madar” to discuss Higher Education issues in the Kingdom.
A delegation from Saudi Aramco visited PMU campus on December 29, 2008; followed by Saudi Aramco Vice President on December 30, 2008.
A delegation from the American consulate in the Eastern Province visited PMU to learn about the university’s technologies and academic programs.
PMU launches its first specialized scientific journal titled “Global Journal of Education technology”, also called “GJET”. The journal covers topics, articles, and research studies related to educational technologies in order to promote the constant development of the educational process.
The Department of Campus Life, Division of Student Affairs, organized a workshop titled “Raising Electoral Awareness” that encouraged students to take part in the election of the students’ council.
Al Bayan School visited PMU male campus on January 5, 2009.
